Diet Measurements Week 10

Happy Easter! 

This is my tenth week of dieting and I've made quite a bit of progress. I saved my free day this week to Sunday so I can enjoy Easter dinner with my family without having to worry about calories. So, ham, potatoes and chocolate easter bunnies all around!


I appear to be on track for my 3 month goals. At that point I will be switching to weight training or lowering my diet goals.

Diet Measurements Week 9

I had a good week this week. I seem to do most of my weight loss in the first half of the week and then coast the weekend. That's fine, my free day is usually either Friday or Saturday depending on my schedule. Also, I have been spacing out my workouts to allow myself more time to recover and that also seems to be working well. I think I may actually respond better to this method, as I don't recover as quickly as I once did.

Once I get to my goal I'm going to have to figure out how to maintain it. I don't want to feel like I'm dieting, but I already know what eating anything and everything does. The secret is to find something livable and sustainable that doesn't require willpower to maintain. I'll need my willpower for my novel rewrite!

Nice to see I've lost some off my waist and back. I have shoulder blades again!

588,485

I just noticed today that I have rowed 588,485 meters since I purchased my Concept 2 rowing machine.














That is equivalent to 365 miles! Wow, I had no idea. My friend Mike lives north of Chicago. His home is a distance of 376 miles, so Mike, I should be there in a few days. 

*sigh* 

Then I have to turn around and row home.

Diet Measurements Week 7

Considering the amount of cheating that went on this week, I'm happy with these numbers. Next weekend will be two months on the diet. My current goals are weight 164 with 15% body fat. Maybe by May I will have reached these goals. I will then have to discover new ones.
